Enabling SSH on Ubuntu

To enable SSH connection via putty or another terminal app on ubuntu, do the following.

Open a terminal with Ctrl+Alt+T

sudo apt update 
sudo apt install openssh-server

Check if its running

sudo systemctl status ssh

Should say service active

Allow SSH Throught the firewall

sudo ufw allow ssh
